All users, health care providers and consumers, are welcome. You do not have to register to read the information on this site, but you do need to agree to the following.
If you are a provider of health care related services, you are encouraged to register for this site. Please read the details about this site and conditions of use. Afterwards you will be asked if you wish to register. A link is provided to the registration page. At the end of registration, you will be asked if you agree to this User Agreement.
ePsyQ.com Mental Health Network is a community of healthcare providers dedicated to developing the service and research potential of this media. ePsyQ.com provide a base of operations for web based research and services in the healthcare sciences. ePsyQ.com intends to drive healthcare providers to the site by providing basic web based services such as networking opportunities, free service listing and webspace, news, top site ranking for healthcare sites, to generate interest in both participating in web based services and research, as well as referring clients for participation as subjects. The mission of ePsyQ.com is to (1) advance the knowledge of the public about the nature, quality and accessibility of health services, (2) to promote and provide a means for health professional to network with other health professionals about professional concerns, and (3) to build a network of health professionals and other interested parties to promote the use of the Internet to communicate, build creative and collaborative services and service models and research their outcomes. None of the information contained on this site should be considered a replacement for professional services offered face-to-face by licensed mental health professionals.

Content submissions must identify the author and are assumed to be an authoritative statement for which references (links for example) must be provided in standard APA format. Information based solely on personal experience (e.g. anything the person has undergone himself/herself) must be clearly identified as representing the opinion of the contributor. By submitting the information, contributors certify the information is true and correct to their knowledge or they must clearly state that their statement is a hypothesis or tentative explanation. The content must be intended to support, not replace, the direct relationship between patients and health professionals. Contributers are encouraged to not publish any information that is private. All content on this site is held for approval by the owner. The owner is notified automatically when contributors submit content. Submissions are reviewed within 24 hours in most cases. The owner shall determine if the content submitted is consistent with the mission of this site and the HONcode standards. Unapproved content will be returned to the author with requested changes. Contributors who repeatedly and flagrantly violate these standards will be notified that they have been banned from submitting further content. Frequent contributors may be given the privilege to post their content without prior review and may volunteer to moderate other's content, but only if they fully identify themselves and their credentials and agree to these standards.
On each page, the author, the last modification date is automatically listed. Any claims relating to the benefit or performance of a specific medical treatment, commercial product or service must be supported by clear references to scientific research results and/or published articles or stated that they are based on the author's personal research or professional opinions explaining how the author reached the conclusions stated. Contributors are not allowed to post advertisements, whether in the form of text links or banners without authorization of the specific content by the owner.
Links to other websites represent a general knowledge of those sites are related in purpose to the article and/or ePsyQ.com, not an endorsement of their content. The author certifies by submitting content that no compensation was received or else the author must disclose any situation that could conceivably be viewed as a conflict of interest or a reportable financial interest as a disclaimer in the first paragraph of the article.
The Discussion Forum is provided to allow an exchange of ideas about topics. It is subject to all the same rules listed above. Contributors may suggest new sections and reorganization of some part of the forum to facilitate discussion by emailing the owner.
